Custom Home Building Process
We know you care about the efficiency of your home as much as we do. At Greener Homes we have a custom home-building process so that it becomes exactly what you want. Every homeowner is different, and each home should be too. We’re proud to create custom built, or what we like to call personalized features specific to your home. We build what you need and want. We just make it Greener.
Finding a Lot to Build On
It starts with a lot, or an existing home in the case of renovations. There is much to consider when it comes to choosing where to build your dream home. Some lots are better for utilizing the sun’s passive energy, depending on which way the house faces and it’s surroundings. We will help you find a lot to build on in Lethbridge or a surrounding area. Or, we will help design a house that works with the lot your heart is already set on.
Customizing Your Design
When it comes to the design of your custom home, it’s much more personalized than looking online, choosing a floor plan, and asking us if we can customize it. We will sit down with you, get to know you, and listen to your opinions and expectations. We work together to design the best home we can for you, while working within your budget.
If you’re looking for your forever home, and a home that you can age in, we can help. We build sustainable homes that are third-party verified to stand the test of time. We can incorporate accessibility design into your home so you won’t have to move if mobility becomes an issue. Find out more here.
Choosing Your Materials
When it comes to building your custom home, we take everything you say into consideration.
There are very few things you won’t have control over, and these things are the super-efficient building envelope, and our commitment to using locally sourced, non-toxic materials that are made to last. These things are what make Greener Homes the healthiest, most comfortable homes available, and they are a part of our extremely high building standard.
Transparency and Customer Service
During construction we keep you up to date. We will accommodate your request to tour the site and view the progress whenever you need. It’s your home we’re building, and we understand that you have a vested interest in what’s going on. We commit to transparency and keeping homeowners in the loop.
By the time your home is ready, we hope to be friends. That is our goal, and that is our commitment to customer service.
